Boarding Rates - Effective July 11th, 2022 Boarding rates apply for the day your pet is dropped off and for every day the pet remains in our care past our 12-noon checkout time. If you checkout before noon, or if your pet is groomed on the final day (this does not apply to Sundays or Holidays), you are not charged a boarding fee for that day. Additional fees may be charged for extra playtime, stuffed Kongs, medical injections, after-hour services, trips to and from the airport, and trips to and from the veterinarian. Bookings and Cancellations – Boarding reservations can be made in person, over the phone, or by emailing us at [email protected]. Please do not make reservations via Facebook. We often have a “No Vacancy” status during busy times, such as when children are out of school. We encourage you to make your boarding reservations well in advance to avoid us having to tell you that “We have no vacancies.” Please cancel all reservations you will not need at least 48-hours in advance so we can fill that spot with someone on our waiting list. Failing to cancel may result in our asking for advance payment of any future reservations and loss of VIP status. We understand that family emergencies can occur, and if you explain a sudden cancellation, we will work with you. Our boarding rates are designed around optimal occupancy. Those who cancel at the last minute or do not show up and do not even have the courtesy to cancel at all drive rates up for everyone. Boarding for DogsThe base boarding rate for a dog includes one playtime of your choice; snuggle time, individual play, or group play. Not all dogs are suitable for group play, and eligibility is determined solely by Green Acres Kennel Shop. If you request group play and your dog is eligible for group play, you will receive a boarding discount, as noted below. An additional playtime of any type may be added at $5.00 per session. Dogs boarding in the same kennel must reside in the same household and be able to eat beside one another without supervision. Green Acres Kennel Shop reserves the right to board animals separately if they believe it is in the best welfare of the animals. Green Acres Kennel Shop offers a VIP and VIP Plus Client Loyalty program based on a client’s pet food and supplies purchases in our store. Eligibility for participation in the program is determined in the spring. 2022 VIP clients receive a 5% discount on boarding services, while VIP Plus clients receive a 10% discount on boarding services.
1 Dogs per run – Dogs boarding in the same kennel must reside together in the same household and be able to eat beside one another without supervision. Green Acres Kennel Shop reserves the right to board animals separately if they believe it is in the best welfare of the animals. You will be charged for individual kennels if animals need to be boarded separately. Green Acres will determine the maximum amount of dogs allowed per run. 2 Indivdual Play – Dogs will be taken out one at a time for a play session with a pet care technician when requested by the client or when Green Acres determines that a dog is unsuitable for group play. Dogs from the same family sharing a kennel will be taken out together but will be billed at the individual rate if they cannot be taken out with non-familiar dogs. 3 Group Play – Dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs may be taken out with other dogs at playtime when their clients request and when Green Acres Kennel Shop has determined that a dog is suitable for group play. These dogs receive a discounted boarding rate. 4 VIP and VIP Plus Loyalty Programs – Green Acres offers VIP and VIP PLUS loyalty programs to clients who spend a certain amount over a 12-month period. For example, in 2022, VIP clients will receive a 5% discount on boarding, daycare, and grooming services, while VIP PLUS clients will receive a 10% discount on boarding, daycare, and grooming services. Additionally, VIP and VIP Plus clients may receive special product offers via email. A current email on file with Green Acres is required for participating in our VIP programs. Client spending is evaluated annually every spring. For example, clients who average $50/month in retail sales at Green Acres between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023, may be considered for VIP status. Clients who average $100/month or more in purchases may be eligible for VIP Plus status. Boarding for CatsOur spacious cat condos allow ample room for your cat to move around and play or just hang out during their stay. We also have a large playroom filled with cat furniture made available to cats during their stay. The opportunity to spend a day in the playroom is included with the base rate. However, some cats need a day or two to acclimate, so staff will determine when they are ready to go into the playroom. The amount of time your cat spends in the playroom will depend on the number of felines in our care at any one time. Cats boarding in the same condo must reside together in the same household.
