Level 2 Classes

Manners for the Real World (Level 2)

Prerequisite: Green Acres’ Basic Manners, and/or approval of the instructor

This class is designed specifically for dogs that have successfully completed a Green Acres’ Basic Manners class. In this class, we will concentrate on refining the basics in real life situations; leaving the roadkill, or sitting while you sign your name. We will also introduce some more advanced behaviors such as Stay, Stand, Targeting and Heeling.

Dogs enrolling in this class should be able to: SIT and DOWN on a single verbal or hand cue within 3-5 seconds and should be able to walk politely for short distances with no distractions. The course is 8 weeks in length. The first session will be our Advanced Clicker Training seminar, a two and a half hour advanced orientation without your dog. Remaining classes will last for 45-50 minutes. The fee for Manners for the Real World is $125.

Advanced Clicker Training Seminar (Level 2)

Prerequisite: Introduction to Dog Behavior & Clicker Training and/or approval of the instructor.

This class is a two and a half hour seminar for people only. We will show you how to improve your training skills while reviewing canine behavior. Students of our Manners for the Real World class are automatically included in this seminar. The fee for Advanced Clicker Training is $55.
