Eagle Pack Pet Foods

In the Fall of 2008 Eagle Pack pet foods was purchased by Berwind Corporation, a venture capital company, and merged into a new company called WellPet, which also owns Wellness. .

Eagle Pack foods contain two enzyme-bearing ingredients; Aspergillus Oryzae Fermentation Solubles and Bacillus Subtillus Fermentation Solubles. These enzymes assist in the breakdown of the food into smaller, more readily absorbed nutrients. This means your pet will make more efficient use of the food fed, and if predisposed to digestive upset, will have fewer problems. This is one of the reasons you feed less Eagle, which translates to a lower daily feeding cost.

Our pets have a complex collection of approximately 100 trillion microorganisms in their digestive tract which are essential to proper food utilization. Stress and illness can deplete these microorganisms affecting your pet’s health. Eagle supplements its food with Enterococcus Faecium and Lactobacillus Acidophilus, helping your pet when ill or under stress.

Eagle introduced their Holistic Select line of foods in 2002. These extremely high quality foods use many novel protein sources such as Duck, Anchovies, and Sardines. They are ideal for a rotation diet as described in our article Alternating Your Dogs Food Makes Sense.

Eagle pack offers thirteen dry dog food formulas which are available in small (6.6lbs), medium (15lbs or 16.5lbs) and large bags (30lbs or 33lbs).
