As a result of Wysong's recall they have been retesting all of their dry products. Although their examination has found no additional signs of mold, they are electing to play it safe and also recall the following product:

If you need assistance, please let us know. We will be contacting  all customers who have purchased Maintenance, Senior or Synorgon between June 1st and today. I suggest you go to Wysong's website (http://www.wysong.net/moreinfo.php) for a complete explanation of the recall. If you have any of the affected food which was purchased at Green Acres, you can return these bags to Green Acres where they can be exchanged for product with non-affected lot codes or we can issue you a refund.

Debra Bell, from Bell Imaging and Design, will be at Green Acres Kennel Shop on Sunday, November 8^th to capture your precious pet on film - for the holiday season or just because. Each 15-minute session costs $25 and includes; a 5X7 print in a handsome folio, an online gallery of your pet's session and a special treat for you and your pet. Discounts on the purchases of greeting cards and prints will be available. Debra will be donating $5 from every session to the Eastern Area Agency on Aging Furry Friends Food Bank and Green Acres will match that with an additional $5. Space is limited so we encourage you to reserve your spot in advance by calling Green Acres Kennel Shop at 945-6841. Debra Bell specializes in wedding, portrait, nature and animal photography. On October 18th we learned that Wysong has recalled certain lots of their Maintenance and Senior dog food manufactured in June and July of 2009 due to mold being found in some of these bags of food. While both of these formulas are sold in the variety pack, no food in the variety pack has been affected. Specific lot numbers of affected food are listed below and should not be sold or fed. It is possible that none of the affected food has even been in stock at Green Acres; however to safe we will be contacting  all customers who have purchased Maintenance or Senior between June 1st and today.
