[Bangor]- Don Hanson, co-owner and Director of Behavior Counseling and Training at the Green Acres Kennel Shop in Bangor, has completed 30 hours of continuing education, while attending the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) annual educational conference in San Diego, CA.

The Association of Pet Dog Trainers, headquartered in Greenville, SC, is the largest organization of dog trainers and behavioral consultants in the world, with 6,000 plus members. The APDT annual conference is the largest event of its kind, with speakers presenting on a wide variety of topics. Hanson previously served on the Board of the Directors of the APDT for 6 years, was reelected to another 3 year term in 2010 and is currently serving as its Chair. He has also been a speaker at past conferences.
