About the Blog: Words, Woofs and Meows

Words-woofs-Meows-High Res with TM 755x800

Welcome to Words, Woofs & Meows my blog all about dogs, cats, their people and the relationships that they share.

Posts here will include information about; animal behavior, training, husbandry, health, wellness, nutrition, animal welfare and just living with cats and dogs.  Also, whenever I learn of a LOST PET, a PET FOOD RECALL, or anything URGENT that could negatively affect our pets, I’ll post it here on the blog as soon as I can. I’ll also be sharing book and video reviews, information on new pet products and services, summaries of podcasts from my radio show, The Woof Meow Show, as well as posts from other blogs that I believe you may find useful and or entertaining.

I will only post on subjects where I have expertise and will only write about things I believe in. In other words, I will not write something because I’ve been paid to do so <Can You Trust Your Blogger?>.

If you subscribe, I promise not to inundate your email box. I’ll post once or twice a week unless it’s about something critical like a lost pet or a health alert. Each blog post will contain a subject line clearly indicating what it is about. For example: the subject line for our alert on canine cough was “URGENT! – Health Alert – Canine Cough in the Community.” If you are not interested in the subject, just delete it. I won’t be offended. If you do read the post, feel free to comment and let me know what you think.

If you want to search the blog to see if I’ve written about something, just go to the search box, or scroll down and go through the list of categories. I’ll do my best to title, categorize, and tag each post so it’s easy to find.

I hope you find the information here useful and will spread the word to other people sharing their lives with dogs and cats. Your feedback is welcome!
