Jack was lost in the vicinity of Pickerel Cove Road in Castle Harmony, along the north west side of Great Moose Lake.
Jack was lost walking back from the boat ramp to the rented cottage. He was there only 5 days, so he’s not familiar with the area.
There was a possible sighting reported to the dog officer there – “Rich” – but no more info is known.
Area Towns: Castle Harmony (where he was lost); Athens, Cyrs, Mainstream, Harmony.
OWNERS: Are from Rhode Island, so they are back home, reluctantly. It will be up to Mainers to find this dog.

If you know anyone living in Castle Harmony, ask them to have folks look out for Jack. Roads in that area: Pickerel Cove Road, Bailey Bridge Road, Bean Hill Road, South Rd., S Merrill Rd., Lakeview Drive, Shore Dr., Zelliff Rd.
The Lake is on one side, so Jack would be walking inland, or along the shore.

- He may be inclined to seek out young boys for company, there is a young boy of 7 in the family.
- He lives in a green ranch style home, so he may look for a ranch style house.
- He is used to a blue Dodge truck, so he may look for that sort of truck.
- He eats dry Purina dog chow.
- He likes people, is very social.
- He should come when called (unless he is disoriented).
- As he is 12, he usually sleeps a lot during the day.
- He’ll have a 1 mile walk, but that’s it.
- He is not much of a swimmer.

- Food left out at rented camp on Pickerel Road, #3.
- People at camp are checking the food.
- Owners left some of their clothing at the camp.
